Grant award

Congratulations to Dr Leanne Cussen who was awarded grant funding to pursue a project exploring skeletal muscle metabolism in women with PCOS. The results of the funding applications were announced at the Joint Irish-UK Endocrine meeting that took place in Belfast on October 14-15th. Prof Michael O’Reilly and Dr Tara McDonnell also presented research findings at the conference which brought together the endocrine community from both sides of the Irish Sea.
