NEW REVIEW: 11-Oxy Androgens in Human Health
A new review co-authored by Clinical Lead, Prof Michael O’Reilly alongside prominent biochemist, Prof Karl-Heinz Storbeck (Stellenbosch University, SA) provides a timely overview of the clinical and biochemical importance of 11-oxygenated androgens in human health and disease. “This review ..provides an overview of our current knowledge on the biosynthesis and activity of 11-oxygenated androgens with a focus on their role in disease states. We also highlight important analytical considerations for measuring this unique class of steroid hormone.“
